PanchKamal

Description

This design has five circles of 16 petalled lotuses around a Bindu – with shades of blue and magenta toned in opposite directions. This creates a very calming effect on the person who meditates on PanchKamal. The 16 petals refers to the numerological number 7. This number represents the sacred – the 7 planets, the 7 days of a week etc. The 5 circles represents mental activity, intelligence and magical properties. It also reminds you of the five elements you are made of (mortality) and the 5 human failings of pride, illusion, greed, passion and anger.

Cool down! Remember your mortality (dust to dust) and suppress your five failings while marching towards the sacred.
