Purity Of Fire

Description

This work is influenced by the Yagna or Hawan, which we perform regularly at our temple or home. The Fire is considered the purest of the elements. It is invoked in rituals of almost of faiths (lighting of a candle, a lamp etc). This was again a doodle at work, which I converted into this painting.

The design within the triangle is a symbolic representation of the holy act of creation with the burning fire representing the purity of the act and also the energy the act creates. To neutralise the tremendous energy within the triangle, the calming element of blue space is invoked around the bindu.
